# SMS Reminder

> SMS Reminder sends automatic SMS appointment confirmations, reminders and follow-ups from Google Calendar, with two-way texting and a built-in online booking page. It is built for small appointment-based businesses and solo practitioners who already schedule in Google Calendar and don't want to migrate to a new scheduling platform.

What it does:

- Connects to Google Calendar (personal Gmail or Google Workspace) through Google's OAuth sign-in. No Zapier, no calendar migration, no code.
- Detects calendar events that contain a client's mobile number and sends texts automatically: a confirmation when the event is created, reminders at the lead times you choose, and an optional follow-up after the appointment.
- Two-way texting: clients reply in plain language to confirm, cancel or ask to reschedule, and the app responds automatically (English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German). Clients can also confirm or cancel by tapping a link in the text. Rescheduling completes on the booking page.
- Replies update the appointment status (Pending, Confirmed, Cancelled), shown on the Google Calendar event and in the dashboard.
- Online booking page: clients book open times straight into Google Calendar, with unlimited appointment types on every plan, availability, minimum notice and buffers.
- Booking location and Google Meet: each appointment type can have a location — Google Meet video call (a new Meet link is created for every booking), an in-person address, a phone call, the client's own address (entered at booking), or custom text. It appears on the confirmation page, the confirmation email and the Google Calendar event, and in SMS reminders via {eventlocation} or {videolink}. Free on every plan.
- Booking page branding: one logo and one brand colour per account, on every plan.
- Customisable message templates per calendar, with dynamic fields for name, date, time and location.
- Ways to add reminders: Google Calendar add-on (Google Workspace Marketplace), web app, Chrome extension, or the booking page.
- Setup typically takes about 10 minutes.

Pricing (USD per month; annual billing = 2 months free):

- Free plan: a booking page on your primary Google Calendar, 1 user, plus 25 SMS reminders as a one-time allowance. When those 25 are used the booking page keeps working and reminders pause until you pick a plan.
- Basic $19: 50 SMS/month, 2 calendars, 1 user
- Starter $29: 100 SMS/month, 5 calendars, 1 user
- Business $45: 250 SMS/month, 10 calendars, 2 users (most popular)
- Enterprise $75: 500 SMS/month, 20 calendars, 5 users
- Premium $125: 1,000 SMS/month, unlimited calendars, 10 users
- Plans differ only in reminders, calendars and users; no features are paywalled. Local pricing in EUR, CAD, AUD, BRL and GBP.

Good fit:

- Businesses that already manage appointments in Google Calendar: therapists and wellness practitioners, salons and beauty, tutors and trainers, legal and accounting, auto services, mobile and field services.
- Teams that want SMS reminders and a simple booking page rather than a full CRM or practice-management suite.

Less suited:

- Businesses that need intake forms, payments or a full scheduling platform replacement (tools like Acuity Scheduling may fit better).
- Businesses that don't use Google Calendar.
- Countries where SMS delivery isn't supported (see Unsupported countries, linked below).
