Quick answers to help you set up, send reminders, and get the most out of SMS Reminder.
Reminders may not send if the appointment does not contain a valid phone number, if reminder settings are disabled, or if the message exceeds the available reminders in your plan. You can review your reminder settings in the SMS Reminder dashboard.
Simply include your client’s phone number in the Google Calendar event when scheduling the appointment. SMS Reminder will detect the number and send reminders automatically based on your settings.
Appointment confirmations allow clients to reply to a reminder message to confirm or cancel their appointment. This helps businesses reduce no-shows and keep their calendar accurate.
Yes. SMS Reminder supports sending reminders to most countries worldwide, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Australia, and much of Europe. Some countries may be restricted due to carrier limitations.
Each subscription plan includes a set number of SMS reminders per month. The number varies depending on the plan you choose, and you can upgrade anytime if your business needs more reminders.
SMS messages are sent in segments. If your message exceeds the character limit or contains Unicode characters (such as emojis or accented letters), it may be split into multiple segments, which consumes additional reminders.
Each SMS segment sent counts as one reminder. Most messages under 160 characters use one reminder, while longer messages or messages with certain characters may be split into multiple segments.
SMS Reminder connects directly to your Google Calendar and sends automated text message reminders to your clients before their appointments. Simply add a client’s phone number to the event and the reminder will be sent automatically based on your configured schedule.
