Uninstalling is clean and reversible — here's exactly what happens to your app and your data.

If you remove SMS Reminder from your Shopify admin (Settings → Apps and sales channels → SMS Reminder → Uninstall), your subscription is cancelled automatically. There's nothing extra to cancel and no further charges.

Your Book Now buttons stop working once the app is removed, so uninstall when you're ready to stop taking bookings through it.

If you'd rather stay installed but stop the connection, open the app's Connection section, click View details, and choose Disconnect. This unlinks SMS Reminder from your account, and you can reconnect later without reinstalling.

SMS Reminder never reads your customers' personal details out of Shopify — booking details are collected through the booking widget, not pulled from your store.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support.

Uninstalling and any deletion request remove your associated data in line with our <a href="https://www.smsreminder.app/privacy-policy" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">privacy policy</a>.
