Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install a Shopify app?
No. The booking button is added using a Custom Liquid block in your Shopify theme editor. You paste the embed code from your SMS Reminder account; no separate Shopify app is required.
Does this work with all Shopify themes?
The Custom Liquid block is a standard Shopify theme feature available in all Online Store 2.0 themes. If your theme does not support Custom Liquid blocks, you can share your booking page URL directly instead.
Where are appointments stored?
Appointments are stored in your SMS Reminder account and synced to your connected Google Calendar. You can view all upcoming appointments in your SMS Reminder dashboard.
Are SMS reminders required to use the booking button?
No. SMS reminders are optional. The booking button and booking page work without SMS reminders enabled. You can turn reminders on or off at any time in your SMS Reminder account settings.
Can I add the booking button to multiple pages?
Yes. You can add the Custom Liquid block with the embed code to any number of pages in your Shopify store.
