Step 1: Install the plugin and connect your account
Install the SMS Reminder Booking plugin from the WordPress plugin marketplace.
After installing:
- Go to Settings > SMS Reminder Booking in your WordPress admin.
- Click Login or Sign Up.
- Create your SMS Reminder account or log in to an existing one.
Once connected, your booking settings will appear directly inside WordPress.
Step 2: Customise your booking button
In Settings > SMS Reminder Booking, you can:
- Edit the button label (for example, “Book Now” or “Schedule Appointment”)
- Choose the background colour
- Choose the text colour
- Select the button size
- Set the button alignment
A live preview shows exactly how your button will look before you publish.
Step 3: Add the booking button to a page or post
Open the page or post where you want the booking button to appear. Then:
- Click the + icon in the WordPress editor.
- Search for SMS Reminder Booking Button.
- Insert the block into your page.
- Click Publish or Update.
Your booking button will now appear on your live site.
Step 4: Share your booking page directly (optional)
You can also share your booking page without adding a button to your site. In plugin settings under Share your booking page, you can:
- Click Copy booking link
- Click View page
Use this link in emails, text messages, or social posts to accept bookings instantly.
Step 5: What happens next
Once your booking button is live:
- Visitors click Book Now on your site.
- They view your real-time availability from Google Calendar.
- They choose a time and confirm their appointment.
- The booking is automatically added to your Google Calendar.
If SMS reminders are enabled, your client receives a confirmation message immediately after booking and reminder messages before the appointment.

Do I need coding knowledge to install the plugin?
No. The plugin installs from the WordPress plugin marketplace like any other plugin. The booking button is added via a block in the standard WordPress editor; no code is required.
Does the booking page use my existing Google Calendar availability?
Yes. The booking page pulls available time slots directly from your connected Google Calendar. When your calendar changes, your booking page updates automatically.
Are SMS reminders required to use the booking plugin?
No. SMS reminders are optional. You can use the booking page functionality to accept appointments without enabling SMS reminders. Reminders can be turned on or off at any time in your SMS Reminder account settings.
Can I add the booking button to multiple pages?
Yes. You can add the SMS Reminder Booking Button block to any number of pages or posts in your WordPress site.
Where can I find my booking page URL to share directly?
Your booking page URL is shown in plugin settings under Share your booking page. You can copy the link and share it anywhere, even if you have not added the button to your site.
