Minimum Notice, Booking Window and Buffer settings are set on each appointment type. To find them, go to Settings → Booking Page → Manage appointment types and edit an appointment type.
Minimum notice
Set a minimum amount of time you want to have before a booking can be added to your calendar. For example, you can set 1-day notice which means that the app will only start showing open slots 1 day into the future, even if your calendar is open before then. You can set the minimum notice in minutes, hours, or days.
Booking window
Set how far ahead clients can book, so nobody books months past the dates you plan for.
Under Booking Window, choose calendar days into the future.
Enter a number of days from 1 to 365.
Click Save.
Today counts as the first day. For example, 30 days means clients can book today and the next 29 days. The window moves forward every day, so there's always the same number of days on offer.
To let clients book any date in the future, choose Indefinitely into the future.
Note: If your booking window ends before your minimum notice does, clients see no times at all. The app warns you before you save.
Meeting buffer
Ensure you're not running from appointment to appointment without enough time to prepare or worrying if an appointment goes a few minutes over schedule. You can set a buffer before or after existing appointments in your calendar to ensure you always have a minimum amount of time between bookings. The app won't show availabilities for appointments that overlap with your buffer.
Other Things to Know
New appointment types start with a 60-day booking window. You can change it or remove it.
Appointment types you created before the booking window existed have no limit until you set one.
Setting or shortening a booking window never cancels existing bookings. Their reminders still go out.
When a client reschedules, they can move up to the end of the booking window. If their original appointment is further out, they can move to any date up to that appointment.
The booking window uses the timezone of the calendar the appointment type books into.
