Why the name
Named for the arm that works on its own
Kalama is inspired by cephalopods, the family that includes the octopus and cuttlefish. They’re known for sharp memories. And (fun fact) an octopus’s arms can each taste, touch and move on their own, without waiting on the brain to tell them what to do.
That’s how we think about running a small service business. You’re the brain of the operation, looking after clients, doing the work and wearing every other hat. Kalama is the arm that takes appointments off your plate. It keeps track of every client, books them in, reminds them and follows up, so you can focus on the work in front of you.
Let us be the arm that handles your appointments.
