Appointment booking

An appointment booking page for your Google Calendar.

Share one link with unlimited appointment types. Clients pick a service and an open time, and the booking lands in your Google Calendar — no back-and-forth messages, no double-bookings.

What is the SMS Reminder booking page?

The booking page is an online scheduling link connected to your Google Calendar. You set the hours you take bookings and the appointment types you offer; clients open your link, choose a type and an open time, and the appointment is added to your calendar automatically. Anything already marked Busy in Google Calendar is never offered, so the page only shows times you can actually take.

Because it lives inside SMS Reminder, every booking can also get automatic text reminders — so the client who booked on Tuesday still remembers on Friday.

Unlimited appointment types

Every service on one booking page. No cap.

A 30-minute consult, a 60-minute session, a 90-minute deep dive, a quick follow-up — create as many appointment types as your business needs. Each one gets its own duration, notice period, buffers, Google Calendar and reminder template, and clients choose between them from a single link.

Some booking apps limit this. Calendly’s free plan, for example, includes one event type, with unlimited event types on its paid plans.1

How it works

From link to booked, in four steps

1
Set your availability
Choose the hours you take bookings on each day of the week, switch off the days you don’t work, and mark holidays or one-off days off.
2
Create appointment types
Add a type for each service, with its own duration, minimum notice and buffers — and choose which Google Calendar it books into.
3
Share your booking link
Send the link by email or text, add it to your social bio, or point a “Book Now” button on your website at it.
4
Bookings land in Google Calendar
Clients pick an appointment type and an open time. The booking is added to the right calendar automatically — no manual scheduling.
What clients see

A booking page clients finish in a few clicks

Clients choose an appointment type, a date and an open time in their own time zone, then add their details. Only times that fit your availability and your Google Calendar are shown. See the setup guide for where to share your link.

Everything you need to take bookings online

Unlimited appointment types
Add a type for every service, session length, staff member and location — there’s no cap. Clients choose from all of them on one booking page, so you never juggle a different link per service.
How to set it up →
Multiple calendars, one booking page
Link each appointment type to a different Google Calendar — useful for separate staff members, services or locations. How many calendars you can connect depends on your plan.
How to set it up →
Availability that respects your calendar
Events marked Busy in Google Calendar are never offered as open slots, so a lunch break or a standing meeting protects itself.
How to set it up →
Minimum notice
Stop surprise same-day bookings. Set the notice you need in minutes, hours or days, and open slots only start after that.

Buffers between appointments
Add breathing room before or after existing appointments so you are not running from one client to the next.

Clients reschedule themselves
Turn on rescheduling and clients can move their appointment to another open time from the confirmation page — you can switch it off for specific appointment types.

How the booking page handles the edge cases

Topic
How it works today
Availability schedule
Each booking page runs on one weekly schedule. Block extra time by adding Busy events to Google Calendar.
Days off
Holidays are picked one date at a time. For a week away, add a Busy block to your calendar.
Recurring appointments
The booking page takes one-off appointments. Standing appointments you create in Google Calendar still get their own reminders.
Rescheduling
Clients can move a booked appointment to another open time, but can’t switch it to a different appointment type.
Booking + reminders

A booking is only half the job

The further ahead someone books, the easier it is to forget. Link an SMS reminder template to an appointment type and SMS Reminder texts the client before every booking made through it. Clients can reply to confirm or cancel, or ask to reschedule and pick a new time on your booking page.

FAQ

Common questions about online booking

Is there a limit on how many appointment types I can create?
No. You can create unlimited appointment types on every plan, including the free trial — one for every service, session length, staff member or location — and clients choose between them on a single booking page. Your plan limits how many calendars you can sync, not how many appointment types you create.
Does the booking page work with Google Calendar?
Yes. The booking page reads your Google Calendar for busy time and adds every new booking straight into the calendar linked to that appointment type. Your calendar stays the source of truth.
Can I use one booking link for several staff members or locations?
Yes. Create an appointment type for each staff member, service or location and link each one to its own Google Calendar. Clients choose the type on one booking page and the booking lands in the right calendar. The number of calendars you can connect depends on your plan.
How do I stop clients booking my lunch break?
Add the time as an event in Google Calendar and make sure it is marked Busy. Busy events are treated as unavailable, so those times are never offered on your booking page.
Can clients reschedule their own appointment?
Yes, if you turn rescheduling on. A Reschedule option appears on the confirmation page and clients choose a new open time. You can turn it off for individual appointment types.
Can clients book a recurring appointment?
Not through the booking page — it takes one-off appointments. You can still create recurring appointments in Google Calendar, and each one gets its own reminder.
Do booked appointments get SMS reminders?
They can. Choose an SMS reminder template on the appointment type and reminders are scheduled automatically for every booking made through it. Each appointment type can use a different template.
How do I add booking to my website?
Copy your booking link from Settings → Booking Page and link it from a “Book Now” button, your email signature or your social profiles. On WordPress you can also use the SMS Reminder booking plugin.
